“THE COMING OF SPRING” - by SAIKAT MONDAL
“I woke up to the chorus of the birds singing
Joyfully they announce, the advent of spring
I open my eyes and behold the glorious sunshine.
Hills, vales and flowers are smiling:
A lake nearby reflects the azure sky.
As if a magician with his magic wand
In the depths of night touched
And Earth desolate, to a garden of paradise transformed.
Gently blown by the perfumed spring breeze,
Oh so glad my being feels!
Joy herself rushing thru my bloods and veins.
Surrounded by pleasant sceneries and sounds;
On the wings of dream myself I found;
Transported to a colorful fairy play ground”.

Excerpt from the book: “Dialogues with My Self” - by poet & philosopher: Saikat Mondal. - (Which can be found on: www.barnesandnoble.com

SAIKAT, who currently lives & works in West London, saw an advert of the Vision & Mission we displayed in a shop, - and his heart resonated with the words and ideal: – that people who have vision to see a better, more peaceful, kind & beautiful world, should come together to support each other in being a means to help ourselves and others to make a difference for good! He knows the desire to spread the news, because:
“Without A Vision Of Hope The People Will Perish!”
In the short few weeks since we met him, we gelled into a family of hope & peace, joy & love. We felt like we knew each other all our lives & we are indeed spiritual affinities from the past!
As a very sensitive soul it has been difficult to keep his creative inspiration flowing, and he is so happy to meet others who can understand his heart! Welcome to the Mission Family! Peace! Carol.
SAIKAT has definitely indicated to us that he is very willing to support our efforts to promote the Vision and Community we are seeking to form. He has brought us both much joy, peace & a very special love, into the Mission and family.
There have been others who have supported us much, & to them we are eternally thankful. - But full commitment has been rare. – It seems that Saikat, with his great compassion, seeking & many creative gifts, feels the Vision that calls us both is the same as his own. May this spiritual friendship prosper indeed!
Blessings, Mandel.
