Animals Count aims to take animal issues to the top of the political agenda. We do this by setting the best policies for animals and encouraging existing political parties to become more animal friendly.

Animals Count is active in England, Wales and Scotland. Founder and Chair, Jasmijn de Boo, was an active member of the highly successful Dutch Political 'Party for the Animals', which gained two seats in the general election in November 2006, nine seats in the Provincial elections in March 2007 and one seat in the Senate in June 2007 - a world first!
